Kyrgyzstan
Kyrgyzstan is a beautiful country with numerous towering mountain and lush green valleys. It is dominated by the Tian Shen mountain range, which divides the country into north and south. The landscape is teaming with pristine lakes, rushing rivers, small mixed forests, rich grasslands, and intriguing wildlife. The most famous lake, named Issyk-Kul, is referred to as the pearl of Central Asia. It is the world's second largest alpine lake, reaching 182 km (113 mi) long and 60 km (37 mi) wide. Its name means "warm lake" in Kyrgyz for it never freezes over. Some wildlife in the area includes snow leopards, Marco Polo sheep, ibex, red deer, and many rare species of birds.

Beyond Kyrgyzstan's stunning landscape, the Kyrgyz people have a rich, vibrant culture and fascinating nomadic traditions. They have roamed this area for thousands of years, living in yurts, moving back and forth between summer and winter pastures, herding sheep and living off the land. They are excellent falconers, using birds of prey and taigan dogs for hunting wolves, coyotes, rabbits, and other rodents. They make stunning handicrafts such as rugs, bags, hats, and jewelry. They tell fascinating tales of their heroic ancestors, the most famous being the epic of Manas. The Kyrgyz people have come up with the most gruesome and wild games, which they would traditionally play in their free time. This year, Kyrgyzstan will be hosting the 3rd World Nomadic Games during September 2th-9th, which illuminates their nomadic lifestyles. This is the 2018 promotional video.
